The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation (IPEF) welcomed Dr. Chad Stevens as its new Board Chair at the annual Board of Directors meeting in June. Chad has been volunteering for IPEF as a Board Director since 2016 and began his new role of Chair on July 1, 2020.

Chad has dedicated his career to improving education outcomes for all students. A native Texan, Chad began in his home state as a teacher. He then held the roles of Assistant Principal and Principal, Director of Instructional Technology and Chief Technology Officer for Clear Creek Independent School District which served more than 41,000 students and encompassed the Johnson Space Center.

Chad, his wife Sarah, and sons Caleb and Carson relocated to Illinois in November of 2014, specifically choosing District 204 based on the exceedingly high-performing educational programs and the strong family-centric community. Chad has continued his passion for education technology in roles at CDW-G as their Chief Education Strategist and now at Amazon Web Services at their U.S. Leader for K12 Education.

Along with volunteering for the Indian Prairie Educational Foundation, Chad also serves on the board of Consortium for School Networking. “As an educator I believe that supporting our students and their families is a community effort. I am humbled to lead a talented Board of Directors as we look to build on our already strong partnership with District 204 and expand existing IPEF programs,” Chad shared.

Please help us welcome Chad to his new position as Board Chair of the Indian Prairie Educational Foundation. We feel fortunate to have him in the leadership role and look forward to learning from his vast experience in the education field.
